A little more about me

Due to the influence of siblings who have traveled widely, I couldn't wait to experience the world outside of Australia and took every chance I could before, during and after medical school to see the world.  An overseas elective half way through medical school allowed me to spend 2 months in the Amazon followed by a couple of months backpacking and with that I fell in love with South America (and the girl who became my wife).

In the years that followed Claire and I both developed an interest in photography.  Whilst we've taken a few beginner classes it remains more a passion of interest than anything serious.  In this year abroad we hope to be taking more photos, honing our skills, and bring home some images to hang on the wall.  My primary interests are landscapes, animals, and people.
